Context
ClockWise is a gamified alarm app that transforms waking up into a motivating daily challenge.
Instead of snoozing, users complete fun mini-tasks to dismiss alarms, earn points, and build consistency through rewards and streaks.
Challenge
Most alarm apps only ring users snooze or ignore them. We wanted to design
an experience that:
Keeps users engaged even when sleepy.
Replaces punishment (loud alarms) with positive motivation.
Turns morning routines into rewarding habits.
Key Features
Gamified Alarms Each alarm is paired with a random mini-challenge (puzzle, reaction test, or memory game). Completing it dismisses the alarm
Streaks & Rewards Users earn points every successful wake-up and maintain streaks for consistency
Smart Challenges Tasks adjust difficulty based on user behaviour if snoozing often, challenges get tougher
Minimal, Playful UI Soft gradients, animated icons, and smooth transitions create an uplifting mood first thing in the morning
